The other day, at Als, where I got my piercing done at the neck, I picked up this Sufi symbol, on a leather pendant. I was going to remove the symbol from the leather, since I did not know its significance. I thought I could use the leather as a base for a Jade Buddha head I have. But when I found out that it was the Sufi symbol, I decided to keep it. And to think I picked it up at a shop which attracts collegians, it makes me wonder that the youth wear this symbol. Do they know the meaning? I also don't know. Will find out, and blog tomorrow:)
