The Skandasana, on which I blogged today, is a powerful hip opening pose. Why does yoga play so much stress on hip-openers? Because they are, according to my favorite alternate healer, involved with progress in life, especially in a new direction. Mmmmmm.. I must tell that some students who resist that:) She says you must affirm the ease with which you move ahead.. Let's try it at both levels -- the body and mind:)
