Daily Health Gyan: list of sattvic foods for kids

This is a list of sattvic foods as listed by Growing with yoga, by Jayadeva Yogendra:
  • Milk, milk products
  • Fruits, dry fruits
  • Seasonal vegetables
  • Cereals, wheat, unpolished rice, jowar, bajra, corn
  • pulses - moong, green and yellow.
  • sprouted cereals and pulses
  • ginger, turmeric, cummin, coriander powder
  • Honey, jagery, misry (Indian Crystal sugar), raw sugar
  • Ground nut or til oil
