Yogic tip for today

Backward wheel. If u wish to drop back into the wheel from a standing position, u must learn to drop the hands far back with in what is called the anuvittaasana -- actually it was my daughter who spotted the error in what I was doing in the standing backward drop -- she said I was dropping from the hip, which is actually  a bit fearful and anxious way of entering the pose. The more elegant drop was from the back itself and the hands -- confident that ur body will hold u with control till ur hands reach the floor behind where u cannot really see them!! So have started on this correction ... and hope those of u doing the wheel will now reach into it from this fashion... boldly!:)
