The chakrasana advanced variation:)

Jit who has seen an old photo of mine executing this pose jokes it must have been morphed and that it is impossible to do this pose. I also, whenever I lift off, do it with extreme caution. It is not a pose that I take lightly even now. After a gap of months, if I return to it, I always flop on one side, or I roll into the inverted-V:) Actually there is a flow from this pose to inverted V and back to it and so on. That would be the chakra mala-- the wheel chain... Am working on it for sure, more by falling!!
The day I take this pose lightly I would feel good -- I want for me to be able to do whatever I do with a sense of lightness...
If u ask me how to do this pose, I am still not sure in the sense of where the focus must be.-- I myself keep something to keep my eyes fixated on, while holding this pose. That helps center my mind. But as far as strength and balance is concerned, that is still so tricky. There has to be simultaneously awareness on the supporting hand, and the lifted leg. Plus the attention has to be along the spine that it tilts just that much and not too much, where u are most likely to tilt over... So for me too, to decode this pose, it is still a challenge. when I do it more smoothly, with less caution, and more lightness will work a video to show how it may be approached...

Till then, happy sadhana!!
