Massages: an interesting discovery

I was doing a column on massages and found this nugget. Apparently a Canadian researcher found that massages can repair the post work-out inflammation in the body by tweaking the genes that cause inflammation and shutting them down, while promoting genes that aid repair by releasing cell food. This means if you are a heavy duty work-outholic or a yoga freak, you may need regular massages to avoid inflammation of the tissues.. Thought-provoking!
