Yesterday's answer, today's question

ANSWER: Yes, all forward bends are soothing.  That is because the forward bending move gushes blood to the brain. In a high stress situation, the blood is more focused on the limbs (to run!). The forward bend restores the homeostasis, returning blood to where yogis want it-- their minds:)

Query:
Which of the following is a cure-all pose: Headstand, cat pose, shoulderstand, forward bend? To answer this, you must be an instructor.. and more, you must be a knowledgeable instructor:) Any case, students are more clued in these days, so the question is open to all who have a general idea about what could be contraindicated to the rest of the poses... Think, think, think...

Panacea was the Greek goddess of "cure-them-all"
She suffered the fate of all Greek gods: today she's remembered and appreciated but worshiped no more...
May be in her case because there is not really a cure-all thing:-)
