Pranayama practice is very tough. Not physically, but mentally, because to do it on your own, u need super-discipline. Plus, since the mind becomes so bored watching itself (since it is actually a boring thing, our mind), it will create a whole lot of resistance. Usually, yoga teachers have a big problem overcoming this block. However, I find that if you are a regular practitioner then u don't have much trouble doing it in class. If u did not practice it, u will find that it can be even more tough to teach....
