Today's yogic tip

Not many people know that we all, human beings and not just pets, need to deworm ever so often, esp if you like raw food stuff or eat out... and some natural foods will clear your insides. But in yogic practices, holding the boat pose for long will help clear your gut of these critters too! So also mayurasana -- but as far I know, not many people hold it as long as they should to actually make it work!! And u know, if you have a belly that is flopping about, part of that comes from having worms... no kidding!!

most poses need to be held for three minutes or so for real effect. If unable to hold the boat for so long, do it three times, over your sadhana. It can be done after leg raises, after twists, then before nidra.
