In class: Firing, firing, firing!!

MMmmm ... feeling very kick-ass and have been very kick-ass this entire week.
Fired one student for coming into class like a slug ... for low energy and sitting around doing nothing much...
Fired another one for not losing weight at hips and flopping about!!
Fired another for not eating the entire day and then, turning up for class with a lot of weakness and request  for a soft class . Am I doing a one-on-one with this person, that they ask for such privileges??. Arrrghh!!
Fired another one for turning up into class after a heavy meal and looking winded ...

Fired another one for coming AFTER  the class got over, messing up (or trying hard) to mess up the nidra of others already in, and then changing into work-out clothes AFTER THE LAST CLASS IS OVER and others are leaving AND WANTING TO STAY BACK TO  TALK (explain, they say... but same thing... I don't want to talk inconsequential things after class is over, especially the last class for the day!!)    And then, having the cheek to say I am suffering from negativity for ticking him/her off!!!
Fired another one for not having focus!
Fired another for not enjoying surya namaskar...
Fired another one for not correcting oneself during surya namaskar ...
Fired another one for having learnt surya namaskar the wrong way... or the wrong teacher....
Fired this one, fired that one....

As you can see, a lot of firing this week...
I am an old-fashioned type of teacher... and nothing u guys say, or do, or pay will change me for being this way:)

I recall one student cursing  me that she/he hoped that all negative students should stop coming to class (meaning that with my sort of attitude I will be running empty classes:) But hey, not  having `negative' students is a curse??!! For whom??!! NOT FOR MEEEEE.....  I shout, "Yippee,"  and zip about crazy mad happy...
Actually, it is not about negativity. That is just a label u put there, when u interpret things from your comfort zone and judge someone for giving what you are not ready to take... That something u cannot swallow is  called the Hard Momma love. And this is the way I have bought up my own  kid...
I strongly believe that correcting a student is not just the prerogative/privilege  of the teacher.... It is actually the student's privilege when she/he is corrected. Goading will always sound harsh...   But it  is also best gift/ lesson a  teacher can give a student....

Cool and calm down lady !! As a stranger reading your blog, hard to fathom such aggro coming from a YOGA teacher. Introduce yourself to meditation and mindfulness...to help put actual YOG in all it's forms - to practise !
Teacher heal thyself !!
Good Luck and God Bless. Neesha.

U are either comic or pompous. Mostly both... If that is what meditation does to u, your poor sod, u are good example not to try it!! And are u always so superfluous and supercilious Maataji? Have u read the rest of this blog ... I will also pray for your soul:) May u find redemption at least in your next birth:)
