Students who understand yoga and does who do not:
The wise initiate only those discriminating persons who have discarded all illusions; they never dream of initiating the weak-minded, who are subject to worldly illusions. Should they (the teachers) do so, it will only be mating a virgin in the waking state with a husband in the dreaming state.
Those who are clinging to the idea of permanency of this `I' -- which is but a mirage in a desert , are not fit to be initiated into yoga /jnana (wisdom).
