Yogic tip: jalandhara bandha

When the chin lock (jalandhara bandha ) is used during pranayama, it enhances the meditative experience of your practice. In the chin, carotid sinus is pressed. This, according to Sw Kuvlayananda is said to induce a blissful condition. He quotes from the Shiva Samhita, that when this practice is perfected, "the blissful and pure Brahman reveals itself."
