Yesterday's answer, today's question

ANSWER: Oh wow, 12 responses! And only one a spam... Yes, most of the answers which said ashtanga namaskar is right. Also Chaturanga dandasana. Though in the latter only seven parts touch (if u place ur chin on the ground, which sounds like a feat to me!). and yes, some schools use chaturanga dandasana also -- this is more tough and is used in the ashtanga school often, to make the flow more challenging. Sometimes it is an extra pose, where the number of poses in the sun salute become more, sixteen in certain flows and so on.

TODAY'S QUESTION:
Is the bhramari pranayama (humming bee) cooling or heating in its effect?

I love this question. The main `personality' of bhramari is calming.  But that  is the effect it has on the mind. What is the effect of bhramari on the body... heating or cooling:)???

BTW I LOVE ALL OF U WHO ANSWER. AND I LOVE THE EXTRA EFFORT THAT IT INVOLVES ESP IF U ARE STUDENT AND NOT A TEACHER.... may your sadhana ROCK!

i am really not sure on this one, but I am going to give it a shot from my experience. Whenever I practice bhramari, I actually 'feel' cold. Especially in my throat. I feel that my body's temperature falls. So I am going to say 'Cooling'
