Today's yogic tip

Aligning the hips, hands, arms, legs and feet is the only way u can get the max from the warrior first variation. Most people jut their hips behind. The hands also do not align with legs (which means spine has curved, and stomach is popping out). Some people tilt only chest forward... constantly checking the alignment and shifting weight to thighs and hips... it makes it one of the most exciting poses for me... I love it and use it often in class... but still some students, on a good day, can hold it only for a minute. I would think unless u do two minutes in it, u have not felt even a fringe of yoga or meditation in a pose...
