Today's yogic tip

For the full squat -- druta utkatasana -- u may have to do it on toes till your ankles become stretchy enough.  The pose takes its brunt on the ankle and the lower back... so doing it midway or on toes may help stretch the spine and the ankles resp.

You cold also put your toes on a weight plate on the floor to help you keep the knees from going over the toes
