The tortoise as a yoga symbol.

One who is able to withdraw his senses from sense objects, as the tortoise draws its limbs within the shell, is firmly fixed in perfect consciousness.

The verse from Gita which gives details on how to steady the mind (in Second chapter, verses 55 to 72 -- which I am singing  and learning to byheart, set in raag Sri, with Jayashri didi my music teacher, helping me with the sanskrit pronounciation. This section is called Stitha prajna -- the Stitha prajna descibes a person whose mind is tranquil.)

Maybe singing it will remind me of what my original and only goal in life is! Yesssss!!

INNER PEACE. I WANT, I WANT!!!:)
